Some of the runners in the Mariah’s Challenge half marathon and 5K, held Sunday in Butte, are pictured here. The event raised about $5,000, said one of the organizers, Jenna McCarthy. Proceeds go to the Mariah Daye McCarthy Scholarship Fund. Results show 122 people ran in the 5K, with Lisa Choquette taking first in the women’s category; and Max Kluck took first in the men’s. Twenty people ran in the half-marathon, with Rebecca Smith winning in the women’s division, and Don Foley taking first in the men’s division.
